Recent activities involving L.B. Houston Tennis Center include:

	LBH is collecting used children's shoes for an orphanage. The grandson of a friend of Andrea and Larry is going to work in an orphanage in Uganda. The orphanage is for children with AIDS. The children do not have shoes. We will be collecting shoes for them here at the tennis center. If you have any used children's shoes and would like to donate them, we would appreciate it. As always, we appreciate your support. Thank you.
	L.B. Houston players and staff walk in Dallas Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure, November 4-6, 2011 L.B. Houston staff members, players, and friends walked in this event. The Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure® is a 60-mile walk for women and men who want to make a personal difference in the fight against breast cancer.

	L.B. Houston team wins USTA Senior Nationals! Congratulations to the members of this L.B. Houston team. They are the 4.5 senior women champions of the USTA 2011 National Championships!
